This Cream is made with Sandalwood essential oil 100% sustainably sourced from Western Australia's Gibson Desert - a remote region whose harsh climate is known to produce the highest-quality Sandalwood. Sandalwood essential oil is known to help nourish dry skin, and has a warm, masculine aroma that promotes calmness and improves mood.

It can be applied with or without a brush, stays on your face while shaving, and is easily rinsed away when finished.

How To Use:

Lathering up is the 2nd step in The Art of Shaving's trademarked 4 Elements of the Perfect Shave™ (preceded by applying Pre-Shave Oil). The Shaving Cream can be applied with or without a brush:

• WITH A BRUSH (RECOMMENDED): Rinse your face with hot water to stimulate skin, open pores, and soften beard hair for an easier shave. Then, wet your brush thoroughly under hot water before applying a fingerful of shaving cream to the center. Apply to your face in quick, circular movements to exfoliate the skin and produce a rich lather. Shave with the grain on your first pass. If a closer shave is desired, re-lather and shave against the grain. Rinse with cold water and apply After-Shave Balm.
• WITHOUT A BRUSH: Place shaving cream directly onto wet skin and massage into a lather using your hands.
